35th Anniversary Celebrations raise over £7,000
The team at Safe Child Thailand would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped to make our 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner such a great success.
Guests donated a fantastic £7,202 towards our work with vulnerable children in Thailand on the evening. Thank you!
The gala held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London on Saturday 7th April, was generously sponsored by Thai Airways and The Emblem Group. Special thanks go to our esteemed guests, His Excellency Khun Pisanu Suvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand and the Lord Mayor of Westminster for their attendance.
We were also honoured to be joined by Roelien Muller, from our partner project in Phuket initiating Community Health and Hygiene work.
Our brilliant entertainers Vassilis – Magician of the Mind, Thai Dance Academy, West End Kids and DJ SR kept guests enthralled throughout the evening. Amy Willerton, our gracious host, presided over the event expertly.
Amy captivated guests with the heartfelt story of her own first-hand experience of our work with disabled children in Thailand, an addition that was particularly appreciated by donors who know our work so well.
Additional thanks go to the team at the Royal Garden Hotel for their generosity and support of our event, ThaiSmile Magazine and AmThai Paper for capturing the event, and our expert silent auction team from Give Fundraising.
"Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful evening on Saturday. We had an opportunity to meet new SCT supporters and renew old acquaintances. The cabaret was excellent with the Thai dancers and the West End Kids. Amy Willerton, was a very exceptional compare and her knowledge of children with disabilities was very helpful." - Carl and Ann Gross, Safe Child Thailand supporters.
"Thank you for inviting us to attend. We are proud of the achievements of Safe Child Thailand and look forward to sharing these achievements with our audience supporters this year." - Carol Gandey, Lady Boys of Bangkok
We hope to see you at our next event.
