Join in the fun on 6th October
Silly ties at the ready! Join in the fun at your school on Friday 6th October...
Ties for Thailand is a brand new schools fundraising day for 2017, designed to bring your school together to raise money for vulnerable children in Thailand.
How does it work?
Invite your students to donate £1 each (or €1 in Ireland) to wear a silly tie to school. Neck ties, bow ties, hair ties! Anything goes!
Sign-up to take part and download your Ties for Thailand Fundraising Pack below. It contains information on Safe Child Thailand and our work, a poster to help promote your fundraising and information on how to donate.
Where does the money go?
Safe Child Thailand is a small charity that has been working with local partners in Thailand to keep children safe from harm for 35 years. During this time, we have provided hundreds of thousands of children with a secure home, a quality education, vital medical care and nourishing meals.
As many as 11 million children between the ages of 5 and 17 are thought to be working in Thailand, either alongside or instead of going to school. Safe Child Thailand works with outstanding partners working tirelessly to prevent this. The money your class raises will ensure that vulnerable children in Thailand can receive the education they deserve.
